Asthma is a general long-term disease that can make wheezing, coughing, breathlessness and chest tightness. Occasionally, asthma signs can get slowly or suddenly worse. This is recognized as an "asthma attack", although physicians sometimes use the term "increasing". Asthma is made by infection of the small tubes, named bronchi, which move air in also out of the lungs. If you have asthma, the bronchi will be tender and more delicate than usual. Asthma may also be triggered by something inhaled while at work.
